Our firm is partnering with a high-growth, AI-native healthtech startup that’s already live in production with a major U.S. health system. They’re building the real-time intelligence layer for patient routing, triage, and scheduling, plus AI-driven voice workflows that help health systems move faster and serve more patients.
What you’ll do
- Build and ship core product features end-to-end (backend, infrastructure, and UI as needed).
- Design low-latency, real-time systems, especially voice/conversational workflows that operate in production.
- Create the architecture and abstractions that model complex clinical and scheduling workflows.
- Work directly with enterprise healthcare customers to deploy, iterate, and scale.
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience with clear examples of production ownership (internship-only profiles won’t be a fit).
- Backend-heavy or true full-stack engineering capability (not frontend-only).
- Strong CS fundamentals; comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving fast with high standards.
- Experience in high-caliber environments (strong startups/high bar teams) is a major plus.
- Highly valued: real-time/low-latency systems (voice, streaming) and meaningful production LLM work (RAG/agents/fine-tuning), beyond surface-level integrations.
Why this role
- Real users, real constraints: already deployed at a major U.S. health system.
- Small, elite team; your work will materially shape the product and architecture.
- High-impact mission: expand access to care by removing operational bottlenecks.
If you’re excited by ownership, moving fast, and building AI systems with real-world impact, this is one worth exploring.
