A leading regional law firm is expanding its Albany, New York office and has engaged our recruitment firm to identify a talented Commercial Litigation Associate. This is an opportunity to join a growing litigation platform, work directly with experienced attorneys, and make an immediate impact on sophisticated business disputes.
The ideal candidate is a New York-admitted or admission-eligible attorney with 2 to 10 years of commercial or business litigation experience. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys complex matters, strong writing, meaningful case strategy, and hands-on litigation work from inception through resolution.

What We’re Looking For
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York Bar or eligibility for admission.
- 2 to 10 years of commercial or business litigation experience.
- Strong writing, research, analytical, and advocacy skills.
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda.
- Familiarity with discovery, e-discovery, document review, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced litigation environment.
- Authorization to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship.
- Ability to work in Albany, New York, or relocate with a realistic plan.
Candidates with primarily personal injury, insurance defense, consumer credit, or foreclosure backgrounds may not be the best fit unless they also bring meaningful commercial or business litigation experience.
