PMC1069 Technical Trainer / Course Development – Semiconductor Equipment (San Jose; Onsite)

Pink Moon Consulting is partnering with a leading industrial technology organization to recruit a Technical Trainer / Course Developer for a high-impact semiconductor equipment role based in San Jose, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on semiconductor equipment experience who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and helping customers and internal teams succeed with advanced photolithography technology.

In this role, you will develop and deliver technical training for internal employees and external customers on semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including equipment operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, applications, and installation. You will create and update lesson plans, technical materials, and training documentation while helping ensure training content remains accurate, practical, and aligned with field and customer needs.

You will work in both classroom and cleanroom environments, support customer-site training, maintain training equipment readiness, and use feedback from customers and field teams to continuously improve training programs. This role offers visibility, technical depth, and the chance to influence how teams understand, operate, and support critical semiconductor technology.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver technical training on semiconductor photolithography equipment for internal teams and customers.
  • Develop, revise, and maintain lesson plans, technical procedures, and training documentation.
  • Teach equipment operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, applications, and installation.
  • Support hands-on learning in cleanroom and lab environments.
  • Prepare training areas, maintain training equipment, and verify technical procedures.
  • Gather feedback and improve training programs based on customer and field service needs.

What We’re Looking For

  • Semiconductor industry experience, ideally in a fab, cleanroom, field service, maintenance, process, or applications environment.
  • Hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment; photolithography experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to technicians, customers, and internal teams.
  • Experience developing or delivering technical training, procedures, or instructional materials.
  • Comfort working onsite in San Jose, in cleanroom settings, and wearing required cleanroom PPE.
  • Ability to travel domestically for customer training; occasional international travel may be required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

This is a chance to move beyond equipment support and become the technical expert who helps others master advanced semiconductor systems. The work directly supports customers, field teams, and manufacturing technology used in high-demand industries. For someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving, teaching, and continuous improvement, this role offers meaningful impact, visibility, and long-term technical growth.

If you have semiconductor equipment experience and enjoy helping others learn complex technology, we’d like to connect with you!
