What You’ll Do
- Lead development of a core backend platform powering iOS, Android, and Web applications
- Build and scale REST APIs that handle real money and international transactions
- Integrate with payments, wallets, ledgers, banking providers, AML, and fraud systems
- Set technical standards and help shape backend architecture as the company grows
- Work hands‑on in a high‑ownership environment where your decisions matter
Tech Environment
- Python (FastAPI) backend
- Postgres, Redis, AWS
- Openness to Go or Rust for performance‑critical services
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with Python (Go or Rust a plus)
- True fintech building experience including payments, ledgers, wallets, AML, fraud, or stablecoins
- Experience owning systems end‑to‑end (not just maintaining parts of large enterprise platforms)
- Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, early‑stage startup
- GitHub profile required
