Are you a dynamic sales leader ready to drive impact in the public sector? Our client is seeking a hands-on, player-coach Sales Manager to spearhead conference-based lead generation and manage the full sales cycle for cutting-edge AI solutions serving local governments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Attend and represent at industry conferences (3–4 days/week during peak seasons)
  • Build relationships, generate leads, and manage all event logistics
  • Own and nurture leads from initial contact through demo, proposal, and close
  • Track sales metrics, maintain pipeline hygiene, and forecast with precision
  • Leverage your CRM expertise (HubSpot or similar) to optimize workflows and data
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and outbound partners

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5–7 years in sales or business development, ideally in GovTech or public sector tech
  • Proven success managing a metrics-driven pipeline
  • Deep comfort with HubSpot or similar CRM (admin or power-user level)
  • Technical background (STEM degree or relevant experience)
  • Willingness to travel extensively (~75% during peak seasons)
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Self-directed, accountable, and thrives in a player-coach role
