PMC1020 – Legal Secretary (Location- Walnut Creek, California / Hybrid)

Are you an experienced Legal Secretary with a background in Insurance Defense and Civil Litigation? We’re seeking a skilled professional to join a reputable law firm in Walnut Creek. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on challenging cases and support a dynamic legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage attorney calendars and coordinate meetings, court appearances, and discovery schedules
  • Prepare and organize legal documents for trial and filing
  • Maintain confidential electronic legal files
  • Draft correspondence and communicate with clients
  • Provide support across the team and assist with department projects

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of insurance defense trial / civil litigation experience
  • At least 3 years of recent California civil litigation experience
  • Proven trial preparation skills
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Word and case management software; typing speed of 70+ wpm
  • High school diploma or GED required
