PMC1091 Senior Controller (Hybrid; Tampa, FL; Dallas, TX; or Rosemont, IL)

Pink Moon Consulting is partnering with a diversified real estate and mortgage services organization to identify a Senior Controller who can lead enterprise accounting and strengthen the financial infrastructure supporting continued growth.

This is a high-impact role for a seasoned mortgage servicing finance leader who can combine technical accounting depth, operational discipline, team leadership, and process transformation across a complex multi-entity business.

What You’ll Do

• Lead enterprise accounting, payroll, accounts payable, month-end close, and financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Oversee mortgage servicing rights accounting and valuation, investor reporting, cash flow, balance-sheet reconciliations, intercompany activity, and lender covenant compliance.
• Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and support regulatory and financial audits.
• Document accounting positions under U.S. GAAP and maintain strong internal controls that reduce risk and deter fraud.
• Improve systems, policies, procedures, and reporting while supporting budgeting and forecasting.
• Build, coach, and develop a high-performing accounting team and present complex financial matters to executive stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, plus a CPA or equivalent professional certification.
• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 10+ years in senior mortgage servicing accounting leadership with Controller-level responsibility.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, MSR accounting and valuation, investor reporting requirements, audits, controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with mortgage servicing platforms and enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar tools.
• A credible, collaborative change leader with strong execution, analytical judgment, and people-development skills.
