PMC1090 Plumbing Healthcare Project Leader (Hybrid; San Francisco or Los Angeles, CA)

Pink Moon Consulting is partnering with a global engineering and design consultancy to identify a Plumbing Healthcare Project Leader for its San Francisco or Los Angeles office.

This is an opportunity to lead major healthcare projects, guide multidisciplinary delivery, and develop engineers while advancing innovative, sustainable plumbing systems for complex hospital environments.

What You’ll Do

• Lead plumbing engineering design and responsible-charge activities for major healthcare projects.
• Direct the design of domestic water, sanitary and storm drainage, medical gas, natural gas, pumping, specialty waste, and fire-suppression systems.
• Manage multidisciplinary project delivery, quality, profitability, schedules, and client expectations.
• Build strong client relationships and represent project teams in client and Owner-Architect-Contractor meetings.
• Coach engineers, strengthen technical capability, and foster innovation and inclusion.
• Support proposals, project pursuits, decarbonization initiatives, and professional-industry engagement.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• 12+ years of building plumbing design experience, including extensive work in healthcare or hospital environments.
• Professional U.S. Engineering license or equivalent U.S.-certified plumbing accreditation.
• Experience leading medium- to large-scale project teams and multidisciplinary delivery.
• Experience with AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, or multidisciplinary BIM planning, including clash detection and model-quality review.
